Its funny how things align

On the same day that the Premier of Ontario pulls the "advanced" sex-education off the table, Archie Comics introduces an openly gay character.

So, I know that when I was in Grade Three, I read Archie Comics. There are people who are trying to justify the new sex ed because of Archie comics. They say "our kids are innudated with this stuff, they need to understand it."

Poppycock, I say. In grade three I learned that Dragon's aren't Dinosaurs. I barely knew long division. I was still trying to learn how to spell- I couldn't put the *I* before *E* let alone tab a into slot b.

Maybe the Premier's decision was the best decision after all.

Climate Change and Clean Air Emissions - Iceland!

I have a question - if naturally occuring forrests can act as a carbon sink for which European countries get clean development mechanism credits, shouldn't a naturally occuring volcano that emits more GHG (CO2, Methane, and countless other GHGs) and criteria air contaminants count against the country's emissions?

The fools should have bought the volcano stopper I invented in fourth grade. It was just like a plug in the bathtub- it it goes in a volcano!

Species of Rat?

Apparently, Harvard Mouse is more important a decision than I thought.

I just sat through a two hour meeting on what 'strain' of rat would be best used for determining the toxicity of a given substance.

It makes me feel good because, they actually want to make sure the rat they pick is the most succeptible to disease so that they can be as precautionary as possible. The 'strain' of rat that is the best for testing is the Fischer rat. The lewis rats are just useless because they are stronger

It makes me feel bad because, man, poor rat. Genetically predetermined to die in what I can assume is a really painful death.

Maybe the people at the Body Shop aren't totally crazy.

I was right, just got the wrong constitutional right!

Or, is that the incorrect constitutional wrong?

So, the CBC is now reporting that Rahim Jaffer's rights were violated during his processeing after he was arrested.

Not the constitutional right I thought was violated, but the same result ensued. The breach ostensibly challenged every piece of evidence collected after he was pulled over.

I hate cops. Hate. COPS.

This Week

I had a bottle of wine to celebrate the new Baseball Season.

I had a bottle of wine to celebrate the new golf season.

I had a bottle of wine to celebrate the snow being gone.

I have learned that I probably drink too much wine.
