Bat. Shit. Crazy.

Governor Palin's speech was many things - including well delivered, measured, balanced. She did everything she needed to do in order to whip the Republican base into the frenzy they need to be successful over Mr. Obama.

But they also proved to me why they are BATSHITCRAZY- in looking at Obama's view on civil liberties:

"Al Qaeda terrorists still plot to inflict catastrophic harm on America ... he's worried that someone won't read them their rights?"

Yup. She actually said that. The Bill of Rights, who needs it? I mean, it is only the constitutional foundation of the country.

Not to mention that when anyone ever mentions the military, the entire (white- the cameras have to strain to find the "ethnics") crowd froths up and looks like they are going to invade Manitoba.

And McCain himself? He looked older and as frail as I have ever seen him. Good contrast (rolls eyes.)
